How I work:

At the beginning of the therapy process, the most important thing is to create a trusting and good therapeutic relationship where the client feels comfortable in a safe space. Based on that, the treatment can be carried out in the way that suits each person best. I work based on various evidence-based methods and place great emphasis on professionalism. Treatment can be challenging and difficult but at the same time a beautiful and healing process. We will go on a journey together where I will be there for you to achieve your treatment goals.

Recent blog / writing:

I am attending 2 years course in the Search and Rescue Team in Reykjavík to become a full member of Flugbjörgunarsveit Reykjavíkur in 2025.

I am currently reading/researching:

Psychedelics assisted therapy with individuals and groups. I am also researching family therapy with first responders.

Personal:

My favourate thing to do is hiking in the nature to fill my energy levels and ground myself. I love all kinds of art and I paint and draw myself. I listen to all kinds of podcasts, both for fun and for knowledge. I am specially  interested in neuroscience, mental health, families and relationships. My vocation is helping people, both in therapy and through the Search and Rescue team.
